What I don’t get is how a parent can yell and scream and knock down their kids entire mental state and still think it’s just discipline. Open your eyes and realize it’s not discipline it’s verbal abuse. Yelling at your kids to the point that they’re sobbing and unable to even speak to defend their self is not okay. It’s disruptive to the kids mental state and makes them feel at their absolute low. Not only that but to yell at them to the point of breaking then tell them you’re doing this out of love is sending the complete wrong message. This confuses the kid to mistake love for anger and yelling and harsh words and this is not okay. Please do not confuse your child’s image of love for verbal abuse.
